Job Summary:

As a part of the Canadian Central Office Sales & Marketing team, the co-op student will be integral to our success, by having a strong understanding of timelines, budgets, and general operations. The co-op student will support the team across initiatives, tools, and platforms across every part of the customer journey from awareness through to conversion (sales) and will work very closely with the Sales & Marketing Specialist.

Job responsibility:

  • Provide support to Corporate marketing team across various projects and tools including website, DAM, social media management, brand guidelines and manuals, email journeys, CRM, best-practices and training for other divisions, KPI reporting, and others
  • Conduct competitive analysis including across other industries for various marketing topics
  • Liaise with internal departments across divisions, external ad agency and other partners
  • Scheduling team meetings, manage and track project schedules and keep tasks moving forward
  • Coming up with new ways for the team to stay organized and on track with deliverables
  • Support and learn new software systems (Site Core, Dynamics, DAM, etc.)

Experience & Qualification requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a co-op or internship program
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Business/Real Estate and/or Marketing or related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and forward planning
  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills

Bonus points

  • Experience with project management, including tracking tasks, timelines, and proactive follow ups
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing, with an understanding of customer journeys
  • Experience with graphic design or inclination towards design concepts
