Job Summary:

As a part of the GTA Urban Marketing and Sales team, the Marketing & Sales Co-op Student will be integral to our success, by having a strong understanding of timelines, budgets, and general operations. The co-op student will support the whole team through every part of the sales journey from acquisition through to final sales and will work very closely with the Sales & Marketing Specialist.

Job responsibility:

  • Accountable for maintenance & coordination of sales materials – brochure, floorplans, handouts, community maps, etc.
  • Manage digital assets – interactive floorplans, site map, digital community links, renderings, etc.
  • Accountable for maintenance & coordination of incentive sheet, price lists & ACO price lists.
  • Assistance with competitive shopping and value graphs in assigned regions.
  • Maintain schedules, pricing, marketing collateral in shared folders.
  • Creation of weekly ad charts. Proofreading weekly ads and editorials.
  • Ensure assigned web pages and social media community pages are up to date, website maintenance.
  • Manage and responsible for my360, JDE Maintenance & Testing (pricing, deposits, incentives, lot premiums, release lots, etc.).
  • Brochure inventory management including proofing of new/reprinted brochures.
  • Support Specialist and Managers in managing all new project schedules.
  • Support the Specialist and Managers with new community phases/openings, new sales offices.
  • Ensure sales center and model homes are maintained as per Mattamy standards for presentation.
  • Support sales office set up, TVs, iPad, Sales/Product/Smart/GeoThermal Displays, Site Plan Table, etc.
  • Support sales offices in various administrative tasks such as ordering supplies.
  • Assist and attend community events, openings (requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required).
  • Help maintain weekly reports (e.g., pricing, purchaser by city, web registration, flash reports, etc.).
  • Liaise with internal departments across divisions, external ad agency and suppliers.
  • Support and learn new software systems (JD Edwards, Site Core, Eloqua, etc.).
  • Scheduling team meetings as needed.
  • Coming up with new ways for the team to stay organized and on track with deliverables.

Experience & Qualification requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a co-op or internship program.
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Business/Real Estate and/or Marketing or related discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and forward planning.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Bonus points

  • Previous experience in Marketing and/or Sales.
