In partnership with Pathways to Education, Lenczner Slaght is currently seeking a Marketing & Business Development Summer Intern.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Marketing, the Intern will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development team to provide day-to-day support for all functions of the department.

Job responsibility:
-Assist our Marketing & Business Development team by providing day-to-day administrative support for any and all programs, including digital marketing, market research, media relations, advertising, sponsorships, directories and rankings, development of marketing materials and additional tasks as assigned.
-Assist with building research reports including competitive intelligence, industry focused, US litigation firms, and managing partner forums.
-Assist with updating our website and intranet using our content management system.
-Assist with data cleanup for our Customer Relationship Management (contact system).
-Assist with research and reporting of data, trends, competitors, events, and media.
-Assist with organizing internal and external events, tickets, and/or client gifts as it relates to relationship building.
-Assist with applying brand styles and guidelines to internal materials (i.e. PowerPoints, Word Documents, Newsletters, etc).
-Assist with organization of internal documents and files in our document management system.
-Other duties will be assigned as needed.

Experience & Qualification requirements:
-Experience in an office environment, in an administrative role will be considered an asset.
-Open to all college or university programs. A business administration course/program or Law Studies course/program will be considered an asset.
-Confidence in ability to deliver excellent customer service.
-Willing and eager to learn new skills and technology to expand knowledge.
-Excellent attention to detail and strong organization and time management skills.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-A team player who can work independently and collaboratively with others.
-Able to think critically, exercise excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
-Flexible and adaptable, and ability to multi-task when necessary.
-Able to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
