Job Summary:
We are looking for a Communications Summer Student to join our team, reporting to a senior member of our Employee Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their writing skills. They should have a keen eye for detail, enabling them to effectively proofread and enhance others’ work. Additionally, they should be comfortable engaging with people, including leaders, to gather information, demonstrating professionalism and confidence in these interactions. Above all, we seek someone who is not only knowledgeable and talented but also kind, approachable, and easy to work with, making them a valuable team player in our collaborative environment.

Job responsibility:
• Writing and editing various types of communications, including engaging LinkedIn posts, intranet articles, and contributions to newsletters
• Conducting research on communication trends and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
• Creating reports and PowerPoint presentations
• Supporting various employee events
• Providing ad-hoc support for the wider team as required

Experience & Qualification requirements:
If you are great at:
• Writing with a strong portfolio, whether from professional experience or student projects
• Being detail-oriented enough to review and enhance others’ work
• Comfortably engaging with colleagues to gather information

If you have:
• Experience in writing, storytelling, and proofreading
• A strong willingness to learn
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out where needed
