Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Information Technology, the IT Intern will be responsible for assisting the IT team with a variety of tasks including Helpdesk support and other projects as they arise.
Job responsibility:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with setting up new hardware and equipment.
- Decommission old hardware and equipment.
- Support IT requirements for in office boardroom set ups.
- Serve as frontline liaison to resolve user program errors and questions.
- Respond to basic Helpdesk tickets by executing service and support tickets to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
- Other duties as and when required.
Experience & Qualification requirement:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in computer and hardware program or related field of study such as computer science, computer programming or network administration or display a demonstrated interest.
- Computer hardware, networking experience will be considered an asset.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 is preferred.
