Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Information Technology, the IT Intern will be responsible for assisting the IT team with a variety of tasks including Helpdesk support and other projects as they arise.

Job responsibility:

  • Assist with setting up new hardware and equipment.
  • Decommission old hardware and equipment.
  • Support IT requirements for in office boardroom set ups.
  • Serve as frontline liaison to resolve user program errors and questions.
  • Respond to basic Helpdesk tickets by executing service and support tickets to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
  • Other duties as and when required.

Experience & Qualification requirement:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in computer and hardware program or related field of study such as computer science, computer programming or network administration or display a demonstrated interest.
  • Computer hardware, networking experience will be considered an asset.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 is preferred.


  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast paced work environment.
  • Capable of maintaining flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently and with excellent judgment to both follow instructions and take initiative as appropriate.
